Download God of War Ghost of Sparta PSP is a spin off game between God of War events and God of War II events. The game is also the second time that Kratos appears on a portable platform. Although Kratos has reached the rank of a god of war, he is still tormented with the frightening visions. In one of these visions, his mother, Callisto is shown imprisoned in Atlantis, the kingdom of Poseidon who was the god of the sea. Kratos goes on a new mission despite the suggestion of Athena that he should not bother as he would learn more about his past and eventually find his lost brother Deimos in the hands of Thanatos, the god of death.

The gameplay of the second title to the PSP is almost the same as that of the first title, with only a few new game elements added. To accomplish this mission Kratos employs his Blades of Athena, which he can now temporarily augment with a new spell known as Theras Bane, which causes his attacks to be even more powerful. In addition to that, there are a few new magical items, as well as a new secondary weapon. Besides its narrative campaign, Ghost of Sparta has a mode, which is named as Temple of Zeus. It is a place where players can use orbs earned in the Battle Arena to buy numerous pieces of artwork and other benefits.

Similar to its predecessors, the Ghost of Sparta is a mono player video game quest as viewed through a pre-set camera angle. As a game-play character, you have the role of navigating and controlling Kratos throughout the game. Travelling across the Atlantis region, you get to enjoy puzzle, platforming, hack, slash, etc. elements as you fight the antagonists. Among the most vile ones can be found Harpies, Cyclopes, Gorgons, Minotaurs, and Satyrs of Greek mythology.

Bringing the elements of the platform-based gameplay, the player must swing on the ropes, climb up the walls, balance on the beams and jump across the chasms to proceed through the various sections of the game. The elements of puzzle are a combination of easy and difficult tasks.

Some might be as simple as moving a box to open up a doorway, whereas others might take you on a treasure hunt of objects to unlock doors. The quest also contains certain magic powers exclusive to it, navigation abilities and new weapons of combat that were not in the earlier incarnations of the God of War line.
