Tomodachi DreamLife 2 Storyline:

Tomodachi DreamLife 2 ROM is constructed with fully customizable Mii characters that live on an island with the guidance of the player. You can give them gifts, control their moods, and mould their relationships in innumerable ways. It has no plot to adhere to, it is all made through the Miis you construct and the life you choose to lead.

Marco comes to the island as a jovial outsider, and soon becomes friends with his neighbors Lily and Sam. He falls in love with Lily and gets into a love triangle, which he did not anticipate, after Sam reveals that he too loves her. Shattered and lost, Marco retires to the beach to be soothed by the newcomer of the island Zoe.

• Core Loop:

You will be the protector of a beautiful island of love, competition, jokes and surprises indefinitely. You can make Mii characters (based on your family, friends, or totally an original), care for them, feeding them, dressing them, giving them presents, and providing advice as they lead their cheerful lives on the island.

In Tomodachi Dreamlife 2, your Mii characters will initially be strangers when they arrive on the island. You can get them into close contact to start a conversation and as soon as they become accustomed to one another they will automatically start spending time together, make friends, develop rivalry and romantic relationship all by themselves.

• How to Play:

You have no destination other than to expand your island and have your Miis happy and prosperous. It is much more rewarding to play 2030 minutes in one or two sessions in a day than spending lots of time trying to get it in a long session – the island really feels more alive when you do it on a regular basis over time.

Tips for Players:

• Money is in-game and can be gained through visiting the Fountain where Islanders make donations, and selling non-essential items acquired by Miis at the Pawn Shop.
• The game runs in real-time, and Tomodachi DreamLife 2 is recommended to be visited at various times of the day to have a greater number of unique islander interactions and events.
• Islanders will randomly mix and eventually develop a friendship with another person as time goes by. In the event of an interesting meeting between two Miis who seem to have a personality that would allow them to get along, romantic feelings could arise, which will later result into a confession, a relationship and even a marriage.
• Once a married pair has given birth to a baby on the island, the player will be called on the phone by the parents to name and personalize the baby. When the child grows up, the player would either put him or her into a separate apartment or send him or her off to go visit other islands as a traveling explorer.
• Monitor the mood indicators of your Miis during the day, a sad Mii could be concealing a problem and only you can fix it before it spreads to the rest of the island.
